This summer your friends and neighbors will be singing “Heartbreak Beat,” as they attend the July 14th Pleasantville Music Festival, dressed up in their prettiest pink, because the headliner of this years festival will be the hip punk 80’s band, The Psychedelic Furs, their song “Pretty in Pink,” inspired the movie by John Hughes with the same title, and is one of their most popular songs. Of course, if you’re wearing pink you may also get “Love My Way” and be in “Heaven” but then there is also the hit “The Ghost in You,” among many more that will rock the festival this year.
Clearly, it will be Heaven this year at the Pleasantville Music Festival, with the line-up of bands. The Psychedelic Furs alone are worth the price of admission, but their line-up includes an eclectic mix of amazing bands that are sure to please the diverse audience and guarantee to be one music festival not to be missed!
Other bands in the line-up include: Cracker, a well-known rock bank known for their hit song “Low” (video below); The Lone Bellow is a mixture of rock, country, folk, blues songs with “Time’s Always Leaving”; Robert Randolph & the Family Band a rock, funk, soul, jazz band known for their song “Going the Right Direction”; John Hall, founding member of Orleans with the hit “You’re Still the One” will perform with special guest Fly Amero; Lizzie & the Makers, is a local favorite Hudson Valley rock & roll band; Friends at the Falls is a tight five-piece band with well-formed songs, and killer vocals in songs like “A Heart To Save”; Dan Zlotinick, just released his second album “Bumped” and is another favorite from the local music scene here in Westchester County who has a voice like “Ray LaMontagne”; Late Night Episode is from Scarsdale, New York, by way of the East Village rocks, and is an awesome rock/pop band, that just released their second album “Golden Age.” There are a few video clips on our Facebook page Out in Westchester of Late Night Episode.
